Follow the Money.
Read the Record.
A public, neutral database of every seat in Congress: documented campaign finances and voting records, side by side, with links to the official filings. No scores. No conclusions drawn for you. Just the records.
How the money figures are built. Outside spending is the total of FEC independent-expenditure filings made for or against an official. Dark-money-linked is the share of that spending paid by groups whose registration type never itemizes the donors behind the money. An office with no federal finance coverage is labeled unavailable, never shown as zero.
All one hundred seats — every senator's money and voting record.
All 435 seats — every representative's money and voting record.
All fifty states and the territories — who holds the office, and for which party.
The state senators and representatives who write the laws closest to home.
Everyone on the state and federal ballot — open a campaign file for the race and the money.
Every publicly disclosed stock transaction, read against the same official's votes.
Every committee in the record — who it spent for, and who funds it.
